Invalid Icon Path – Appstore rejected

Issue

Dear Developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent binary submission for “Your App Name”. Before your app can be reviewed, the following issues must be corrected:
Invalid Icon Path – No icon found at the path referenced under key “CFBundleIconFiles”: icon114X114.png
Invalid Icon Path – No icon found at the path referenced under key “CFBundleIcons”: icon114X114.png
Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click Ready to Upload Binary. Continue through the submission process until the app status is Waiting for Upload and then use Application Loader to upload the corrected binary.
Regards,
The iTunes Store Team

Answer

This error means that the Appstore icons for the application as defined in the Appname-Info.plist file were not presents in the application when it was built and submitted to Appstore for review. If these icons are not longer needed remove the entries from the plist file and if they are make sure that the corresponding png image files with the same name do exist in the project. Finally repackage and upload the binary again.<!>
