We developers get meeting invites from internal company employees, partners, clients etc. At times it is seen that developers don't follow basic courtesy rules for replying/acknowledging the meeting may they are busy or overloaded etc. Here are some of the guidelines to make the interaction better:
- Always Respond to meeting invites: Accept, Decline or Tentative.
- If you accept and can't make it, please send a note.
- If you are going to be late, please send a note.
- If you decline a client meeting please give them an alternative time since they can't see our calendars.
